Matt is a native of Washington, DC, and former collegiate student athlete, having played at and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Winthrop University. Following graduation, he began a career as a professional basketball and played in over 5 countries (Morocco, Costa Rica, Lebanon, Cyprus, Turkey, Finland, Luxembourg, Estonia); however due to unforeseen circumstances retired. Matt is an entrepreneur, providing basketball/fitness programs to local schools and daycares and is a Certified Personal Trainer. Through his personal, athletic and educational experiences, training, and natural desire to help others, Matt was motivated to develop an organization to teach and encourage others to be the best version of themselves they can be.

We have several volunteers that contribute to our success including high school students receiving community service hours, local organizations, family members, and other supporters of our organization.
